I spoke to a staff at Michael R. McNulty's office.
He comes to Albany on weekends only.
Rest of the time (5 days a week) he is in Washington.
We can meet staff members any time betwenn 9 to 5 (no appointment required).
Spoke to staff member at Schumer's office.
He is not available for a meeting.
Have set up a meeting (with staff) for 12th April 11am (nothing available for next 2 weeks).
I was actually just trying to find out if we could schedule an appointment with Schumer. Did not expect them to set up an appointment on the phone so fast.
We can change if this is not convenient.
I am not sure if this is gonna help, as it is 2 weeks away.
Please provide feedback.

if she can get the tests done in India, there are USCIS approved doctors in Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Calcutta.
My spouse is landing here on Aug 15. That leaves only one day to get medicals done. Any suggestions on how to handle this ? Can she skip skin test and take X-rays directly ?

This is by far THE MOST RIDICULOUS suggestion on this forum I have come across.
Sorry man, this wont work for ANYONE out here. We have been waiting since TWO AND A HALF Years to file and now you want us to wait for 15 more days only to realize that USCIS may actually yank the rug out under us. I mean think about it, we will all feel like MONUMENTAL FOOLS if that happens. Try explaining THAT to your spouse who has been waiting for 2 years or more to apply and get an EAD. I know mine would KILL me if i even suggested that to her ;)
Most of us are concerned about short term goal of getting the application to uscis as quickly as possible , but think of the end result of whether your application be accepted if we rush, the uscis can come back and reject at any time from any date as it happened to Eb3-other workers. In any case there is a very good chance that your wife will kill u ;)

Slight clarification to the new regulations:
Based on the "If they return from the USA after having used the visa" exemption, you don't need a transit visa for the USA-Germany-India leg. But for the return you'll either need an AP+transit visa OR a valid USA visa.
This exemption (and regulation) is the same as that for France. And I just traveled to India and back (in Dec2010) through Paris on expired USA visa and therefore know the above to be true (at least for France).

Yup, i went back to my homecountry in February after 10 years away from home and trust me, our lives here are good. People back there will trade your place in a heartbeat. Just be glad that you are in the pipeline for a PR.

The frenzy will keep increasing until it reaches crescendo like the NAZI campaigns. So we need to direct part of our media campaign towards stopping these lies. The only way we will get out coverage is to go out against the big ones and make the noise. We need to get all the ravings of Lou against the legal immigrants every sound byte , every word he uttered against legal tax paying wannabe immigrants( no nationality restrictions). Everyone should try to send emails via the above link to their own Senators and Congressman, along with various Congressmen on the House Judicial Committee (Subcommittee on Immigration). http://judiciary.house.gov/committeestructure.aspx?committee=4 .
The House.gov web site does not accept email from anyone outside their respective constituency. The Chairperson is from San Jose CA while the other members are from CA, VA, MA, TX, IL, etc. If you are from one of these places, you need to emphasize the importance to them and also mention that we are the next wealthy voting block of the future elections and we will remember them. Now only a Congressional oversight can save us from the USCIS created crisis.

This "AP already approved" so no interimAP(even for emergency) audiotape started since Middle of OCT from NSC IO and local IO's. My AP got LUD on Oct 11th and they said that your AP approved so dont bug us for a duplicate. Wait ... Wait .. Wait ... But how long ??
