Company is paying about 5200 for filing and attorney fees and i paid about 380 for medical

I cannot imagine how educated illiterate IV members are. You think voting on some site will get the bill passed? I agree with Fresheb2 that this is a waste of time. You guys are only promoting some new site. This site will capture your email addresses and send you marketing material. If you read about the site owners, they are commerical companies and they seek to make profit from this site. Do not be fooled that someone will send your bogus votes to congress and the bill will be passed. The site only aims at generating awareness among US citizens about congress and bill. They probably got some grant or decided to make money off this idea and started this website.

The one consolation is that once you get to file your 485, you should not spend too much time in that pending 485 situation.
So if you ask me today, would I rather have filed 485 with a PD of 2006/7 or be in your situation, as bleak as your situation looks today, the better choice might be your situation.

Well that depends on lots of things. If your assumption is that the PD is gonna move slowly and gradually forward, then what you are saying is true. Again, once he/she files 485, his 485 is not going to be processed immediately. AP, EAD may be issued but it may take 6-9 months for 485 to get processed.
However, if PD moves so much ahead that your PD is also current, then you will get your GC (if other processes are complete) whereas he/she would have just filed 485.

removal of ROW spill-over must be in anticipation of the dam burst expected when the BECS finally cross pass the april 30 PDs ( ROW being a big majority of these applications).
We need to look at what the BECs are doing and where they are wrt apr 2001 apps. I believe they are almost past it or in the thick of it. there would be a 3-4 month lag since a lot of these guys are going through recruitment.
That will tell us whether we are seeing the worst or if it can get worse.

As you say that the illegal immigrant lobby gets hundreds of thousands of dollars per month. Do you think any illegal immigrant is contributing this money. They work for minimum wages and have hardly any money to spare.
I think most of the money comes from businesses that employ these people to cut costs. We don't have any such resource. So I don't think IV not getting enough donations can be blamed on IV users.
I have donated as much as I can without getting my budget in jeopardy with all the mortgage , taxes, "health insurance " .medicare, car payments etc etc that we have to deal with.
Another point I think is that even if IV had a couple of million dollars I don't think it will be able to pursuade the Congress to pass any legislation to bring relief to legal immigrants considering the mood of the people in the Congress . No one would like to hurt their political career with voting for us in the Congress. The politicians do only lip service whether for illegal or legal immigrant bills. They have zero interest in seeing them passed in the Congress.

I am planning to file AC-21 memo with USCIS.
I hope the my new employer will help with paperwork. and I have to find a lawyer who can do that and be prepare for RFE and Interviews.
My last question to you:
1. Do you know for AC-21 I have to work in the same state where my labor was filed?
my labor was at IL and now working in TX but same type of job.
2. Is there a deadline or recommened time to file Ac-21 memo with CIS?
I just joined the new company 2 weeks back with my EAD after getting laid off from petitioning employer (they will not revoke my approved I-140)

The campaign has been in place for almost 2 months. Thousands of letters have already been mailed out. The deadline is Mar 10. Please pick out a format and mail U'r letter to the president and IV ASAP.

I believe Mbhai did a dis-service by negating good advice. What is the guarantee that the 2nd women that this guy marries will not ask for divorce? The best thing he can do is find a way to reconcile, unless there is marital infidility.

I know after we file the i-485 for 180 days, we can change our jobs. But rule is that the new job should be in the same field as the old one.

My situation,
I am a july 2 filer, planning to use EAD to work in diifferent company in same profession(NOT invoking AC21). On I-485 approval want to come back to the original employer who filed I-485. my company is supporting and willing to support for any RFEs.
Please tell me if it is going to work and what are the risks involved.
