I currently have the Canon Powershot S50 which i'm selling.
Looking into the minolta Dimage A2 and the Olympus C5060.
Looking to spend about 1300.
I mainly take indoor shots . and looking to print pics as big as 11 x 17
Got the epson 1270 printer .

Yes, unfortunately the clients (mostly US based ) react quickly and negatively to such news because much work happens offshore. The board members of the client organizations are bound to raise questions about reliability of doing business with such a company.Due to this new contracts may be hard to come by.
I feel sorry for the employees.

We got our EAD in the mail today - We are late June filers (29th June) and got our receipt numbers last week, - I have some q's-
-Can one get EAD without completing FInger printing? In the finger priniting colum on the EAD it says - not available, Would that matter?
-How does one activate his/her EAD?
-Have any other late june filers already got their EAD?

I was just thinking if it would help to gain more publicity if this site goes by a different name. On several instances while calling lawmakers or other people, the moment I mention immigrationvoice.org they think it is related to Illegal immigration / CIR etc. I need to stress that it is about legal immigration.

Not really, broadly speaking lack of information can never be a benefit to consumer. (Read: hidden clauses in agreements). It might be that they have been doing that and we don't know. You will ONLY know if you apply for another H1B transfer or any other application say I-140/I-485 with new employer and then USCIS MIGHT tell you that your I-140 is revoked on MM/DD/YYYY and you are no longer in valid H1B status since then. That would be too late and it is not retroactive. Remember that onus is on you to maintain valid H1B status all the time during the period of H1B. Once again I am not saying what I mention above is the correct interpretation of law, but in the absence of any clarify it can be one of the implication.

I just received the following email from TSC. case status is also updated with a hard LUD. It seems like TSC online system is working again!!!!!!!

Canadian Border is like an hour nad half drive for me. I can drive up to border but i don't have a canadian visa. So i will be denied an entry and if i return back will i get a new I-94?

Generally when you are travelling by road to canada they do not issue new I-94s. You have to be in Canada for atlease a week or so to ask for a new I-94. I travelled on business few times. They never gave me new I-94s saying I have been there only for a night. I think, the I-94 attached to your H1 extension should be valid till that H1 expires.
Years ago(1999), my wife's I-94 expired, because at the airport the immigration office entered wrong date. We never verified. We were going by the H4 validity. After the expire date, I spoke my lawyer he was prepared to file for new I-94 but asked for 750USD. I went to the local immigration office in Boston and they corrected it without any issue.
Very recently as last week, we were coming from Canda after spending a week. We crossed the border by ferry, my wife's passport is due to expire in couple of months, her current I-94 is valid for 2 years. We told the office that we do not need a new I-94 and he was OK with that.
So check with the local immigration office, but only after getting a new passport.

I also got rejection notices for my EAD renewal applications yesterday stating "Incorrect or missing fee" as the reason. I am not sure about the mode of payment, etc. used as the applications were filed by the lawyer.

Thank you Krishna. The question really is whether my Labor/I-140 approvals as Indian citizen can be used to continue the GC (to file the I-485) after I change my citizenship. Would you know about that?
Or, if a new GC process is restarted with a new employer, can the old priority date be re-used in the new GC process after citizenship has changed?

Well that's where the problem lies. State of Arizona considers me a resident based on:
1. I have lived here for past 12 consacutive month.
2. Pay state taxes.
Yet the university refuses to accept that and still consideres me non-resident just to charge a higher fee. This is so strange.
I would consult an attorney to understand your residency status..
usually at the time of filing your tax you do declare your residency status (like you are a resident of X or Y state..(if i am not wrong)..]

Being a projct manager, If you cannot influence people to get letter that satisfy the uscis, I will not recommand you for PM.
FYI, my lc is related to testing. but I am not in testing. so If I need a letter, I will ask them whaterver they want to write + testing. probalby you can do the same.
Please be sensible when you post such responses on a public forum. What you are saying is wrong. You cannot advise people to falsify documents in an open forum.
If you cannot get experience letter, why did you go for "previous work experience" requirement in LC? AFAIK, "previous work experience" is optional

This is encouraging. chandu, I read somewhere (mostly on murhty) that CIS will be publishing new AC21 soon and it is expected to be more stricter. Is this just the speculation or any other indications are received?? any idea? I am afraid that what will happen to people who already have used AC21 by following what currently exists???????
